LINHARDT is alive. And there's no doubt about it: LINHARDT will live on into the future. And it's good that way, because we know what LINHARDT means for the more than 1200 people who work here. For them personally, for their families, and for their whole way of life.

A company lives of the success it achieves in economic terms. Yet success is only a means, not the end. That's the reason why we've set up signposts, like markers along the way, to show us in the years to come how to find that path to success. As a team, a team of colleagues and managers. Together with our customers and suppliers. After all, they've also contributed to LINHARDT.

And it goes without saying that this is a challenge that all of us are faced with. But we want more than that: our customers should not only appreciate our products and our services, but also us as people. That means treating customers and suppliers fairly. At all levels.

Working together with our partners means more than just a short-term process. That's why we give them the guarantee that we will make their plans into ours. With the courage to make technological progress, we will constantly strive to work on new projects - secure in the knowledge that our high level of investment will guarantee success.

We can only achieve all that as a result of the way our staff take responsibility for their own work and are prepared to do their best. We place our confidence in them. We offer a lot, and ask a lot at the same time.

We promote, train and support our workforce, we let them have a share in our success. Looking after our staff is our primary concern, and something to which we are committed on a permanent basis with all our resources.

In return, we demand a bit more than just a full day's work. Everyone should know that keeping up to standard will keep LINHARDT alive today. Yet keeping up to standard is only mediocrity: it is that little bit of extra involvement that will secure our survival for tomorrow and the day after. To be able to do this, we must all recognize the needs of the others - both management and staff - and take them into account. Voluntarily, as has always been the case. That goes far beyond mere regulations and norms; that is the culture of work.

We demand a great deal. But we're also prepared to give a lot, and will continue to be actively involved in social affairs. We take time to look after our staff. We want to make decisions with them, not over their heads. That's why we talk to each other. Again and again, at all levels and in all locations.

Our market is international, but we're not the only ones serving it. That's why we are creating the basic framework today so that tomorrow we will be among those playing in the front line. That means that we have to keep on improving our productivity, and that goes hand in hand with a well-balanced development policy:

• We don't mind taking great risks, but they must be
  calculable.
• Our policy is designed to make us one of the best in this
  sector, not one of the biggest.

In order to achieve this, LINHARDT's management sets clear objectives and examines whether those objectives have been achieved. These guidelines are designed to help everybody working and thinking for LINHARDT: both in everyday and exceptional situations. Thanks to the trust that we are able to place in the competence and willingness of our staff to cooperate, we shall follow these guidelines.

Dear Readers and Customers,

We want to be active in shaping our market. Many new products from our company are impressive proof of this. But we have also worked on developing this idea of constant improvement behind the scenes for the future. Early this year we reorganised our company into three areas - Pharmaceutical, Cosmetics and Specials - and it’s easy to sum up the aim of this move: more service for our customers, one partner for all your needs, and faster development for new product ideas. We take this goal very seriously. Our employees receive intensive training in all product areas, and a shared pool of innovations gathers expertise. This shows that Linhardt has grasped change as the chance for further development. Sales are only the first step - adjustment and innovation are part of Linhardt’s tradition.
