LINHARDT invests in sustainability...
Every year, LINHARDT invests up to 13 million euros into its three German factories—in the main factory at Viechtach alone, 15 million euros were invested for modern technology. These investments increase the product quality and also contribute decisively to environmental conservation. The latest technology means that we use resources sparingly. Shorter set-up time and less faulty manufacture in case of error results in far less waste—only two quick examples of technology’s effect.
...in public and in private
The infrastructure of LINHARDT’s factories is a practical implementation of environmental conservation. The air compressors only operate when they are needed, thanks to intelligent control technology. The warmth they create is used to heat rooms and the container washing system. The used water from the washing system is processed in a cascade and can be used up to five times for washing. In other places, dry ice—completely free of solvents—is used to clean machine parts. These examples make it clear—Environmental conservation and the particularly sparing use of resources like energy, water, heat and raw materials are an indispensable part of LINHARDT’s permanent process of improving production quality.
"Investing millions in our manufacturing systems means not only a higher product quality, but at the same time it also ensures a reduction in waste and a more efficient use of energy."
