LINHARDT Tubes can either have a standard round opening or be equipped with a Membrane (for tamper-proofing) or with Applicators. LINHARDT manufactures Screw-caps in a wide variety of sizes, shapes and colours. LINHARDT Closures can also support product-specific uses (e.g. measuring
dosages or spreading applications).
Specific choice of Lacquer and careful application thereof are absolutely necessary for the protection of the Tube's contents. The internal lacquer prevents the contents from reacting with the packaging material and vice versa.
The Latex coating within the fold guarantees impermeability of the tubes. For certain contents LINHARDT employs hot sealing lacquers. Conically-shaped Tubes are stacked inside each other for transportation and therefore save 70 % to 80 % of transport and storage space. Further advantages: higher stability during transportation and storage; improved protection against external contamination.
After the application of a usually white primer coat, LINHARDT Tubes can be multicolour-printed. The inks employed are subjected to strict Quality controls. LINHARDT only uses absolutely highgrade and chemically secure inks. The Tubes are subjected to regular tests in this regard.
Shortly before the end of the manufacturing process a laser applies a tiny mark to each tube. The mark disappears within the tube fold and can't be seen by the end user. With this laser-code, information about the order number, time of manufacture and materials used is stored. The tube, therefore, becomes 'unique'.
